Sedgemoor District Council
Sedgemoor is an excellent location for both employment and as a place to live. The area boasts splendid scenery with the Quantock and Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels and extensive coastline and a vibrant economy. The area is very accessible with first class transport links and the cities of Bristol and Exeter in easy reach.

Mendip
District Council
Mendip District Council is a trailblazing district council with an ever-growing track record of innovation and achievement and with strong ambitions for the future.
We serve the residents, communities and businesses in Mendip across Frome, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Street, Wells and surrounding villages. Our Vision: Working together to make Mendip a great place to live and work in - helping our communities and businesses thrive.
In 2018, we were accredited with both Investors in People and Timewise, the latter recognising that we offer employees a range of flexible working opportunities.
Somerset West and Taunton
Somerset West and Taunton is one of the largest and most fascinating local authorities in the country.
From the coastal communities in the north of the area, including Hinkley Point C nuclear power station – Europe’s largest construction project - through the National Park of Exmoor, the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of the Quantock Hills down to the historic county town of Taunton, the opportunities and challenges are immense.
The new Council was formed earlier this year from Taunton Deane Borough Council and West Somerset Council. It follows a period of significant change in approach, staffing, structure and even office space.
There is a fresh vigour and ambition, with innovative strategies emerging to make Somerset West and Taunton a great place to live, work and invest. A key part of this vision is to deliver quality, pioneering new infrastructure and major developments.
